He took to his Instagram and wrote; We see you, we hear you, we support you. Our LGBTQIA plus community in Ghana.
In recent development, it has been revealed that the retired footballer has lost about 50,000 followers on Twitter following his comment on the legalization of homosexuality.
However, Essien has deleted his post on the legalization of the LGBT in some parts of the world. It seems most people have lost respect and love for him over his comment.
